While it has been a long time coming, the Seminole Tribe’s six casinos in Florida are now able to offer craps and roulette. Sports betting is also available through both retail Hard Rock Bet facilities and an online platform.

The Seminole Tribe initially got the green light in 2021 to start offering these types of games after signing a compact with the state. A drawn-out legal battle meant that it was only on Thursday that the games became a reality.

The tribe held different celebrations at their properties to mark the occasion. A red carpet event took place at the Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood, with some of the celebrities in attendance including Bruno Mars, Jon Bon Jovi, Dwayne Wade, Mike Tyson, and Rick Ross. Many of them proceeded to spin a roulette wheel, roll the dice at the craps table, or place a sports bet.

Speaking about the momentous occasion, Seminole Tribe of Florida Chairman Marcellus Osceola Jr. said that the tribe “is proud to point to a new era in Florida gaming with the unveiling of our new casino games.”
