Police in California have arrested a man in connection to the vandalizing of dozens of vehicles in a casino parking lot. Over his three-month spree, Matthew Ebner flattened the tires of at least 35 vehicles at the Table Mountain Casino in Fresno.

Many of the victims noticed they had driven over metal spikes. Fresno County Sheriff’s Office deputies eventually identified Ebner by linking him to a suspect truck and arrested the 53-year-old at his residence on Wednesday. They found the homemade metal spikes – objects that are designed to stick into tires and flatten them – during the search.
Police believe that Ebner had a long-running feud with the casino, leading him to commit thousands of dollars’ worth of property damage. The basis of the dispute is currently unclear. The Dos Palos resident was sent to Fresno County Jail with bail set at $25,000. He is looking at numerous vandalism-related charges.
